This Sunday we are back to the Genesis narrative and back to our man of the covenant, Abraham. It's been a wild ride with our old friend, as we have witnessed his forsaking of his homeland, pimping out his wife to a Pharaoh, ride off to war like Clint Eastwood and ransack the leading empire of the time, have multiple encounters with God, take a concubine, snip his manhood, feed God lunch, pimp out his wife a second time, become a dad at the age of 100, nearly kill his only son, negotiate a burial site with Zach Efron's great-granddad and play matchmaker for his kid. It's been an adventurous life, but it all ends this week...or does it???Join us this week at we take at look at the events surrounding the death of Abraham. See a man's whose life was anything but perfect, yet was counted as blessed by God more than any other person in history. Even in his death, Abraham, serves as an example of hope and promise for all of us who have been granted a relationship with the Living God and His Son, Jesus.
