Please do not forget what we learned this week in Genesis 32. Jacob was helpless against his fears and sins, leaving him nothing to do but wait for death. In desperation and despair, however, he called on the name of the Lord and was comforted.As we go forward, may we always set aside time to pray. Not as an attempt to find "inner peace" or win the favor of God, but rather to simply acknowledge that we need God in our lives. He alone is capable of saving us, our families, and our enemies. Prayer brings life!
